Whanganui Funeral Notices

Our wonderful Mother, devoted Daughter, beautiful Sister, and Friend has passed away after a very short battle with cancer, aged 60 years.

She now rests in peace and waits the return of Jesus Christ and the Resurrection.

A Funeral Service for Gaylene will be held in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui at 1.30pm of Friday 2nd December 2022, to be followed by interment in the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.

All are very welcome to attend.

Passed away on 25 November 2022 after a very brave but short fight with cancer.

A much loved youngest daughter of her Mother Maureen and her late Father Fred.

Peacefully on Monday 28th November 2022, at home surrounded by all his loving family, aged 71 years young.

Daddy, I never got a chance to say this often but I love you so much. I know that you will be watching us from above. I did not just lose a father, I lost my smile, my happiness and most importantly, I lost that shelter that used to keep me safe. Being your daughter is the greatest honour of my life, thank you for loving me with all my flaws and for loving my boys, blessing them with a great grandfather that they will cherish forever. I promise to be strong no matter how many days pass. We love you, our life will not be the same. RIP No more pain. You can finally see your sweetheart.
