Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Rev Kevin’s life in Christ Church Anglican Church, Wicksteed Street, Whanganui on Wednesday 24th May 2023 at 1:30pm, to be followed by a private cremation.

On 19th May 2023, aged 85 years.

In accordance with Graeme’s wishes a private cremation has taken place.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John on Friday 28th April 2023, aged 82 years young.

John was deeply loved by his wife Anne, and adored by his children, Pam and Kev, Gordon and Sophie.

A fun loving and treasured Grandad of Xanthe, and Logan.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Heartfelt thanks to all the Mitchell Clan for their love and support.

Also to the residents and serviced apartment staff at Jane Winstone; as well as friends of the family for their kindness.

Special thanks to the team at Cleveland Funeral Home for the respect they gave to John and the care shown to our family.

Dearly loved wife of the late Morrie and much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Ron and Jeanette, Marie and the late Jack Valentine,

Karen, Bernard and Barbara, and Lynette and Lindsay Sim.

Treasured Nana of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Pat at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Guyton Street on Monday 22nd May 2023 at 10.30am, to be followed by interment in the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at Pat’s home 28 Marybank Road on Sunday 21st May 2023 at 4.30pm.
