Whanganui Funeral Notices

On 21st August, aged 64, in Hospice Whanganui.

Following a short illness, in the company of Cheryl, his wife and soulmate.

Kevin was a great father and friend to his children, step-children, and sons and daughters-in-law. He will be greatly missed by Tineke and Nadia (Aust), James and Tabea (Auckland), and Katie and Robin Beauchamp (Whanganui).

Kevin was a much loved son of the late Vic and Barbara Baker, and youngest brother of the late Jim, and Pat (Gisborne).

Kevin was a respected colleague and mentor to many at Whanganui DHB, Hospice Whanganui, and UCOL. His guidance and patience will be sadly missed.

A thoroughly good man, taken too soon.

A private family cremation has been held.

Details of Kevin’s Memorial Service will be advised later.

Peacefully at New Plymouth Hospital on Saturday 21st August 2021, aged 82 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Radford and much loved mother of Paul and Marisa.

A much loved Nana of Joshua, Taryn and Sophie. Our thanks to Trinity Nursing Home and the Taranaki District Health Board for their support during this difficult time.

In accordance with Mum’s wishes a private family service will be held.

Passed away on 20th August 2021 after a short battle with cancer.

Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Heather. Beloved dad of Anthony, and Jonathan and partner Ana.

Loved grandad of Michael. Much loved big brother to Gloria, and David, and their partners.

Bestest brother in law to Bev, Karen and Colin, Colleen, and Marilyn. Loved by his nieces and nephews.

A massive thank you to Hospice Whanganui and New Vista hospital for the compassion and care they gave to Ron.

Due to the current Covid restrictions a memorial service for Ron will be held at a later date.

Peacefully passed away in Whanganui Hospital on the 15th August 2021.

Passed away peacefully with family at her side on 19 August 2021 at St John’s Hill Healthcare.

Loving wife to Peter, sister to Irene, Barry, Don & Linda, mother to Mark & David, Gma to Jordan & Dakota.

Gen meant so much to so many people, remembered always for her effervescent personality and unbridled kindness.

Due to the Current Covid Level 4 Restrictions a Memorial Service for Gen will be held on a future date.

On 17th August 2021 Pete passed away, surrounded by his family after a short but courageous battle, aged 74.

Dearly loved Husband of Ettie. Adored Dad of Jo and Kate and their partners Matt and John. Number one Pa to Zoe, Hayley, Eve, Jake, Taylah, Kelsey; Austin, & Makayla.

A loved Son, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle and friend.

Pete was a special man to many and loved by all.

Always smiling, forever happy, and just a wonderful man.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Whanganui would be greatly appreciated.

Due to the Current Level 4 restrictions Pete has been cremated.

A Memorial Service for Pete will be held at a later date.

On 17th August 2021 peacefully in Whanganui Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family.

A Funeral Mass for Kathleen with be held in St Mary’s Catholic Church, Guyton Street, Wanganui on Friday 20th August 2021 at 1.30pm, to be followed by interment in the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.

Peacefully in her sleep on 16th August 2021, aged 89 years.

Much loved wife of the late Hugh.

on Tuesday 10th August 2021, aged 91 years.

Much loved wife of the late Ron. Loved mother of Donald, Ainsley (deceased), Gregory, John,

and Simon.

Adoring Nana Joy to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved sister of Norma.

In accordance with Joy’s wishes a private Family Service has been held.

Peacefully on 14th August 2021, in her 91st year.

Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Rosalind’s life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Wanganui on Friday 20th August 2021 at 11.00am, to be followed by Interment in the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.
